I finally finished this sketchbook. It took me a year and two months to finish (I think) which is a lot longer than when I usually do. However, I managed to finish and now get to start a new sketchbook.

Anyway, I started this sketchbook with Breath of the Wild fanart, so I thought it would be fitting to do Tears of the Kingdom fanart to finish it. One thing I like I did is that in my BotW fanart, it was right after Zelda reunites with Link, and in this TotK fanart, it's right after Link and Zelda (reunite) again.

my favorite version of 'why is zuko good with swords' is that, originally, he was the first son of the second son to the firelord, and, thus, fourth in line to the throne (and likely still not his father's favorite, not with azula there). so, being so far down in the line of inheritance, he was trained in wetwork fighting.

and yeah, there's no canon to support this, but there was an excellent one shot i read that had piando hinting to this fact in a conversation with sokka and i just Latched onto that.
